What are the new marriage laws in the UK? Beverley Anne Celebrant talks to the BBC

It's always fun telling people about my job as a Civil Celebrant, but when I had the opportunity recently to talk to more than 80,000 listeners on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire - well, the fun became pure excitement (read 'nerves')!

As a Civil Celebrant in Cambridgeshire, my job is not only to create bespoke ceremonies that are a unique celebration of love (and to provide support for my clients and their families throughout the service); it is also vital that I keep abreast of any changes in the law that could affect a couple's plans.

There were recent proposed changes to the law surrounding marriage which Louise Hulland at the BBC was keen to get my take on.

Luckily for you - you can listen to the full BBC interview with me on Soundcloud! Just click here to find out all about what a Civil Celebrant does, some of the amazing (and wacky) unique ceremonies I've conducted in the past, and how the proposed marriage laws may affect your future ceremony plans.

If you have any questions following the interview, or if you would just like to have a chat about how I can help you to create the ceremony of your dreams, please book a free consultation with me to find out more.
